These terms explain what TrainYou provides, how the monthly price and platform fee work, and what agreements apply to business customers.
1. TrainYou and these terms
TrainYou is a Dutch general partnership, established at Vlier 4, 3171 PT Poortugaal and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42107437. You can reach us at info@trainyou.nl.
These terms apply to business customers who use TrainYou to manage a sports or training organisation. The person accepting the terms declares that they are authorised to represent the organisation.
2. The platform
TrainYou provides online software for scheduling, participant management, communication, payments and administration. The school remains responsible for its lessons, participants, staff, prices and the accuracy of entered data.
We may maintain and modify the platform. For a significant change that affects use or price, we will inform the school in advance through the account or known email address.
3. Accounts and access
The school manages who receives access and what role each person has. Sign-in details and verification codes are personal. Report suspected misuse immediately to info@trainyou.nl.
The school must not use TrainYou for unlawful content, deception, unauthorised access or activities that harm the platform or other users.
4. Subscription and active students
TrainYou may change the prices. A new price automatically applies to every school from the stated effective date.

The subscription has no maximum amount.
5. How the student count works
A student counts once they have a confirmed link with the school for at least one day in the calendar month. An invitation or prospect does not count. Each student counts no more than once per month.
The count can only increase during the month. Deleting or archiving does not reduce the recorded count. The count starts again at the beginning of each calendar month. Lesson participation, cancellations, chats, sign-ins and payments do not change this definition.
6. Platform fee and Mollie costs
For a partial or full refund, TrainYou retains the original platform fee. We do not charge a second platform fee on the refund. The school bears the costs of refunds, reversals and chargebacks.
7. Payment, failed collection and suspension
TrainYou collects recurring amounts through Mollie. The school must maintain a valid mandate and sufficient funds. After a failed payment, we retry after one day and then after three days, with no more than three attempts.
For an outstanding amount, the school receives a fixed recovery period of seven days. We may then suspend paid functions until the arrears are settled. Payment and legal obligations continue during a suspension.
8. Cancellation and money-back guarantee
The subscription can be cancelled monthly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current payment period. Until that date, the platform remains available and amounts due remain payable.
A new school may invoke the money-back guarantee within 30 days of the first successful subscription payment. TrainYou assesses the request for misuse and, if approved, refunds the first subscription payment. Lesson payments, platform fees, Mollie costs and other amounts already processed are not covered by this guarantee.
9. Availability and liability
We maintain TrainYou with care but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Where possible, we announce scheduled maintenance in advance. The school must retain any data and exports it needs outside TrainYou.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct loss and no more than the amount the school paid TrainYou in the six months before the loss. This limitation does not apply to intent or deliberate recklessness by TrainYou and does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Termination, data and law
After the subscription ends, we block paid functions. We retain records required by law for as long as the law requires. We delete or anonymise other personal data in accordance with the privacy policy.
This agreement is governed by Dutch law. The parties will first try to resolve a dispute together. If that fails, they will submit the dispute to the competent Dutch court.
11. School and club content
The school confirms it has the rights and authority for content that it or its authorised staff post in TrainYou, including logos, cover images and other school or club images. The school retains ownership of its own content and is responsible for obtaining permission from others where required.
When posting or separately confirming content, the school gives TrainYou a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, process, resize or make technically necessary changes to, and display it within its intended visibility in TrainYou. That permission applies only to providing and securing the platform while the content is available there or must be retained under the privacy policy. It does not include independent advertising, publication beyond the intended visibility or sale. Earlier content does not gain this permission automatically; an authorised manager can confirm each type or request its removal without accepting new rules.
